Lawn Mower Question Series (6 of 6): Why Should I Have My Lawn Mower Services Regularly?
4th Oct 2012
This is the sixth and final post in this series of the most common lawn mower questions that we receive.
Now is a great time of year to have your lawn mower serviced as you will tend to use it less as your lawn’s growth starts to decline in the cooler months.
A great advantage is that when your machine is regularly serviced in the months that it’s less used, it better prepares your machine in the spring and summer when use increases again.
Main Reasons to Have Your Lawn Mower Serviced
- Reduces the chances of mechanical failure during the growing seasons, when your machine is more regularly used again.
- Avoids certain lawn problems from occurring, like Leaf Spot, which can make your lawn look very unsightly.
- Can help avoid the unnecessary cost of replacing expensive parts by fixing problems before they get worse.
- Keeps your machine safer overall, by ensuring all parts are connected properly and all safety features are in working order.
Overall, it’s important to remember that if you want to maintain a nice lawn, your lawn mower must be kept in excellent working condition in order to consistently achieve the highest quality of grass.
