Bare Patches

Bare patches in your lawn can appear for a number of reasons, such as:

  • Extreme wear
  • Disease problems
  • Accidental damage caused by building work
  • Worn out grass

If your lawn has developed discrete areas of poor growth over a period of time, it may need to be repaired as soon as possible to stop the problem from persisting. Over-seeding bare patches prevents weeds and improves the overall appearance of the lawn. Some top dressing may also be required to make the grass grow again on the patches.

Lawns that are generally poor, full of weeds or sparse may benefit from a programme of thorough lawn maintenance including regular over-seed applications.

Please contact your local Lawn Master outlet for help and advice regarding patches of poor growth. We are one of the only companies in the UK to be experts with the use of seed.
